Patterned naked raku bud vase
Hand moulded in crank clay and shaped using a rasp
Porcelain slip applied to exterior and burnished before bisque firing
Resist slip and glaze applied with wavy line scratched through the resist before raku reduction firing in a gas kiln to approximately 800 degrees centigrade
The surface is finished with fine sanding and application of sealant and clear beeswax
